Display and build quality:
Micromax Yureka sports 5.5-inch HD (1280x720p) display with a pixel density of 267 ppi (pixels per inch) and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 shield and polycarbonate cover. In terms of visual appearance, Yureka Plus looks identical to its predecessors. Yet, it boasts a better display and protective cover gear. It sports full HD (1920x1080p) display having the pixel density of 401 ppi. It also comes with Gorilla Glass 3 shield. The model boasts sturdier polycarbonate shell with a reinforced casing, which can survive accidental drops. Company founder Rahul Sharma has posted a Yureka Plus extreme drop-test video. It shows Sharma practically throwing and kicking the phone around floors. He also drops it from a height of four feet, then nine feet and finally the handset is dropped from a building with a height of more than 70 feet. The phone does break, with battery, cover and the display getting separated. But once he put those parts back together, the phone started working, except the top-right corner of the display region.
