Wasim Akram needs no introduction to the world of TV, Media and cricket. He was one of the fastest bowlers of his time and without any doubt, the best-left arm fast bowler in the world. Wasim even has his name written in many prestigious books on cricket.
After Wasim took retirement from international cricket, he went into the commentating field and now is associated with an Indian TV sports network. On the contrary, to his own fame, his two sons Taimoor and Akbar never made it to the limelight this much.
They are busy with their studies abroad and spend most of the time in Australia. Recently Akbar who is the youngest son of Wasim Akram was interviewed by the media men and the poor kid looked absolutely clueless.
He was asked would he like to take the wicket of his father and he said yes and when he was told that his father was a bowler hence would he like to hit him for a six, he said yes.
There is no doubt that Wasim Akram eldest son at least is a media-shy person. He was clearly not much into Urdu as well. For one single line, one of the reporters had to ask him in English to read the whole line that he wants to hit his father for a six in Urdu.
