Shahid Afridi has done it again as he hammered another quick fire cameo for his side Hampshire but only this to his team failed to take the success. Hampshire lost the game at the end when Afridi and Sammy got out.
Shahid Afridi went into bat at a very critical situation with the difference between the runs required and balls remaining a lot. Afridi was hardly having any options and hence he straight away started the attack. Dalrymple was hit first choice.
Afridi knew the ball was not turning much and when he hit the first shot to the off spinner. This shot came right from the bottom of the bat. it was no way near to the middle of the bat and yet Afridi cleared the fence at the end.
The fielder at the boundary line looked interested but then looked a mere spectator. The very next ball was a full toss and this time, Afridi clubbed t hard and long on the leg side and got his second six of the game.
Coles then came into the attacked and in order to hit a Yorker he took gave a full toss to Afridi and watched the ball sailed over the long on fence for a huge six. one ball later Coles pitched another full-length ball and this time Afridi went over long off. He hit the ball straight and hard. Afridi hit 4 sixes and tried his best to get to the total but he failed at the end. his own innings was sheer entertainment as always. Sammy batted brilliantly as well.
