Shahid Afridi is a big success in English county and since his early days in international cricket, he has been playing county cricket. Afridi has played a lot of cricket with Leicestershire and Hampshire. This year he is again going to play the T20 championship in England. Here we see him showing his muscles in one of the games he played the last time. Afridi was in some ravishing form. He was playing Derbyshire and in no time, Afridi raced towards 34 runs. His first shot was a cheeky leg side sweep.
It was a full toss and Afridi just placed the ball down towards the deep fine leg. The fielder was inside the circle and as a result, there was no one in the deep to stop the ball.
Derbyshire gave the ball to their left arm spinner and on the very first ball, Afridi went down the track and smoked the ball over the covers for a huge six. This was a monster hit and the ball went over covers, an area where hitting a six is very difficult.
The bowler then eat Afridi outside the off stump and a stumping appeal was made against him. later it was turned down by the third umpire.
He next ball was a short one and Afridi slammed it from the middle of his bat and the ball raced towards the fence on the square side. this was just a slap and the fielder in the deep had no time to run the ball. Afridi was on a roll that day.Derbyshire was falling apart against him.
