Authorities of Pakistan Cricket Board planning to add former captain of Pakistan cricket team Salman Butt in the national squad for T20 world cup 2016.
According to the details the national team selection committee will decide to make changes in the national squad for T20 world cup 2016 today, after observing terrific defeat by Bangladesh and poor performance against weaker team UAE in Asia cup 2016.
It is said that selection committee is planning to include Salman Butt the former cricket who was unable to play international cricket due to a ban from International Cricket Council for 5 years which is now finished and the right-handed batsman is allowed to play international tournaments.
The resources revealed that selectors have severe reservations towards opening batsmen, Khurrum Manzoor and Sharjeel Khan that’s why they are planning to add Salman Butt, who has shown tremendous performances in domestic cricket events held within Pakistan.
On the other hand, cricket fans are highly criticizing the authorities and selection committee for adding Khurrum Manzoor without any reason and Sharjeel Khan on the basis of single good performance.
