Dhoni funny prank in match against Pakistan

Indian captain MS Dhoni is surely a character. He is cool and calm inside the field no matter what is happening around him. Also, he is the best finisher in the international cricket and we have seen him finishing some big games for India.

In 2012 when Pakistan toured India, during one of the ODI games Indian captain MS Dhoni paid a short prank with veteran Pakistani batsmen Younis Khan. Dhoni showed his lighter side as well in a crunch game against arch rivals Pakistan.

Younis was batting against Ishant Sharma and the bowler tested with a short ball outside the off stump, Younis played an uppercut shot over the point. The shot came from the middle of the bat and went over the infield and Younis grabbed two runs.

Now Younis wanted the third one as well but his partner Nasir Jamshed sent him back. Younis was a bit far away from the crease and he had to sprint back to the crease. A last minute dive saved Younis from getting out and that was the time when Dhoni started his prank.

He pulled up the bat from Younis Khan and dislodged the bails and then made an appeal to the umpire. This all was so hilarious that even the commentators laughed over his an action. Younis enjoyed it as well. This is the beauty of India-Pakistan contests where everyone is in tension Dhoni made it looked relaxing and funny. He surely is the captain cool for sure.
