Sri Lankan captain Angelo Mathews had to face an embarrassing moment when he got out in a very bizarre manner. Sri Lankan at the moment have just completed their batting and they have made 122 runs on the board.
On a batting deck, this total might not challenge the strong batting line of the West Indies. They have the likes of Gayle, Samuels, Bravo and Sammy and if any one of then fires a decent knock, it will be curtains for Sri Lanka.
Earlier Mathews was batting against Bravo when he decided to step out his crease in order to hit a big one. Bravo bowled a loopy slow ball that stunned Mathews in the center. He lost the ball in the background.
The ball went as a full toss and as Mathews moved away to save himself from the ball, it hit his bat and ended up in the hands of the West Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Ramdin. Bravo and Ramdin celebrated the wicket but the two umpires asked Mathews to wait.
The third umpire was called in for help as the two infield umpires wanted to have a check whether this one was above waist height or not. The third umpire looked at it with different camera angles and gave it out.
